Our day kicked off with a visit to Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple, where we joined what felt like a gazillion others in a symphony of end-of-year rituals. The air was thick with the scent of incense and the buzz of fortune-telling as hopeful souls posed their life’s burning questions to the divine.
From there, we made our way to the Chi Lin Nunnery—a serene oasis that couldn’t be more different from the temple’s bustling energy. Think perfectly pruned courtyards, tranquil vibes, and the kind of stillness that makes your soul sigh in relief.
Then, as if the universe planned it, we wandered into the Nan Lian Garden. It was pure magic—like stepping into a painting. Time slipped away as we soaked in its picture-perfect beauty for hours.
Finished the day with Symphony of Lights show (free) on Victoria Dockside.
