Another day, another round of temple-hopping:
- Wat Lam Chang – Short but sweet. Definitely felt like a warm-up lap for our temple trek.
- Wat Inthakhin – Blink and you might miss it, but it’s got some serious charm if you take a moment to soak it in.
- Wat Phan Tao – Rustic vibes, with wooden and golden elegance.
- Wat Chedi Luang – We lingered here because how could we not? The ancient stupa is a masterpiece, even with some elephants having “gone rogue” over the centuries. Luckily, a few are still hanging on (literally). Oh, and those five-headed nagas? Absolutely hypnotizing.
- Wat Phra Singh Waramahavihan – If “golden stupa goals” were a thing, this place would win hands down.
- Wat Chiang Man – A classic, and for good reason. It felt like the temple equivalent of a greatest hits album.
By the end, we were temple-ed out but thoroughly impressed. Temples in Chiang Mai don’t just show you history—they practically dare you not to fall in love.
