Off to Singapore today! Breezed through both Malaysian and Singaporean immigration like pros—especially Singapore’s slick automated system. Plenty of people were crossing both ways, so I guess we’ve officially earned the title of “weekend worriers,” as the locals call the cross-border crowd.
Hit up some iconic spots:
✔️ Sultan Mosque – majestic and golden.
✔️ Kampong Glam – living up to the “glam” in its name.
✔️ Merlion Statue – because no Singapore trip is complete without a mythical fish-lion photobomb.
✔️ Marina Bay Sands – marveled at it before diving into the Rasapura food court like true food pilgrims.
✔️ Gardens by the Bay – stunning, but also a reminder that nature in Singapore is just as humid as the rest of the city.
It was insanely hot again, so we made an executive decision: Chinatown (Thian Hock Keng Temple) and Fort Canning Park? Rain check. Instead, we retreated to our Airbnb, where the air conditioning welcomed us like long-lost friends.
