Travel Log: Chaos Edition
Woke up to some delightful news: our flight to Australia got bumped from Feb 13 to Feb 14 due to a mysterious “operational necessity.” (Translation: someone sneezed near the scheduling system.) Cue frantic rebooking, and voilà — we snagged a flight for Feb 12. Turns out it’s overnight, so we land in Melbourne on the 13th, which perfectly matches the accommodations I accidentally booked a day too early. Sometimes, disorganization is a superpower.
This afternoon: a coastal stroll, Daniel did laps like a fish with a fitness tracker, and I hit the hotel gym — a.k.a. the “post-Chernobyl Fitness Center.” Most of the machines look like they survived an apocalypse, but hey, so did we.
