Day one in Sydney! And, of course, we had to kick things off with the Opera House. I was literally pinching myself—never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d see it up close. And even though it felt like the sun was trying to roast us at 95 degrees, nothing could kill that buzz!
Next up, we checked out St. Mary’s Cathedral, and wow, it was like stepping into England or Spain… but with a lot more Aussie sun. There were two weddings happening, so we couldn’t get inside (guess we weren’t on the guest list), but the outside was still pretty jaw-dropping.
We wandered around the CBD and accidentally stumbled upon the NSW National Gallery. And guess what? It was FREE! The art collection was shockingly impressive for a price tag of absolutely nothing. Pleasant surprise? Understatement of the day.
