Today was officially our marine day! We headed to the Heathcote Ward on Sumner Beach, where we got our hands dirty gathering mussels and clams – which we later cooked up for a delicious lunch! (Take that, fancy restaurants.)
Then we went for a hike around the stunning Taylors Mistake Bay. And let me tell you, there was no mistake about it – the views were absolutely breathtaking.
We finished the evening by walking around ChCh, visiting our favorite Margaret Mahy playground, saying our byes to the city.
