Took a nice stroll to Angkaew Reservoir, nested in the backdrop of the Chiang Mai University. Naturally, we had to make a pit stop at Wat Chiang Yeun on the way—how can you not? These temples are like potato chips; you can’t stop at just one. Every time I think I’ve seen enough, another one

Chill day. Had a nice pizza at Marco Anthony restaurant owned by a Californian. A bit overpriced by local standards but it was also the best pizza we ate in Thailand. Went to the local gym. At night – foot massage, almost fell asleep! 

Walked to the ancient temple, Wat Umong, which is unique in that it is build inside a tunnel. The 700 year old temple grounds are beautiful with a pond where you can feed tons of huge catfish.  Had oodles of matcha ice-cream on the way back home at Wedrink. Because why not? 

Daniel’s birthday celebration at 50Fly with laser tag and trampoline! Then, pizza at Two Sisters’ Pizza. 

Another day, another round of temple-hopping: By the end, we were temple-ed out but thoroughly impressed. Temples in Chiang Mai don’t just show you history—they practically dare you not to fall in love.
