Said our goodbyes to all our Melbourne faves: Queen Victoria Market (where we bought enough snacks to feed a small army), Melbourne Baths (where D swam and I worked out), and the local park (our daily stroll to pretend we’re healthy). You’ll be sorely missed, Melbourne! Don’t change, or do—just keep being awesome.

D and I went rock climbing today. Well, D was scaling walls, and I was just standing there, heroically holding the ropes and saving his life. He crushed it though, moving from the #8 wall (basically a toddler’s playground) to the #12 wall (actual challenge). Impressed! Cost AUD 34 (~$22) including my “helper” harness. 

Can’t quite recall what we did today… must’ve been one of those “blink and it’s over” kind of chill days.

Kicked off the morning with a croissant and coffee—because who doesn’t love a breakfast that sounds fancy? Decided to stroll to Lagoon Pier, though I kinda wish we could just swim there. Gorgeous beach though, so can’t complain. On the way, stopped for some Pho Bo. It’s hilarious how we’ve been craving this Vietnamese soup,

Hit up Igor’s birthday bash at Squire Loft in South Yarra and had an absolute blast! The rib-eye and lamb loin chops were chef’s kiss. The grilled veggies? Basically magical. Plus, the company was top-notch. 10/10, would party again. Awesome evening. 

Just another chill day – D’s living his best life in the pool, while I’m pretending to work out at Melbourne baths.

Ah, the Great Ocean Drive – turquoise waters, stunning coastline and magnificent scenery. Thank you, Igor and Vika, for taking us on this beautiful trip! We had a lot of fun hanging out with you and your family!

Today was all about taking it easy. Strolled over to Queen Vic Market for some legendary mussel soup (absolute chef’s kiss), plus a round of local oysters. They were a bit too creamy for my taste, but M was all about it—more for them! Even D stepped up and gave them a shot. Respect. Did

Hit up the Scienceworks Museum—small in size but big on interactive fun! We tested our reaction time (turns out, I won’t be an Olympic sprinter anytime soon), played virtual soccer (where my digital footwork was better than D’s), and even hung out with C-3PO! Okay, fine… stood next to C-3PO while he did his best
