We had grand plans for a second Singapore trip, but between D’s unexpected sick day and the sun acting like an overenthusiastic blowtorch, we decided to keep it local for our last day in JB.
Dropped by the local science museum (free entry—our favorite price!) and had a surprisingly fun time. Small but cozy, like a hidden gem that doesn’t try too hard yet still impresses.
On the way back, we stumbled upon a Hindu temple, and instead of an entry fee, we got a warm invitation from the guard to explore the upper heritage floor. A refreshing contrast to the Glass Temple’s “pay-to-peek” policy—and a perfect reminder that the best experiences often find you.
