Nov 1, 2024 – Seoul, Korea

Deoksugung Palace – walked around, explored the building that was built to receive foreign guests/diplomats. Well, I explored it and M and D slept at the lounge room.

Had a Korean BBQ of squid and belly pork (W42k, ~$30).

Took a stroll over to Hamsangol Hanok Village, and guess what? There was a festival happening! We wandered through the gardens, explored the village, and loved how much chiller it was compared to the touristy chaos of Bukchon. Daniel even got his craft on and made a lantern at the free workshop. Spoiler: It was a masterpiece. All in all, a fantastic day with way fewer selfie sticks than expected!
