Made our way to Hakone Shrine at Lake Ashi—breathtaking lake, but the weather was serving full-on ‘goth phase’ with rain and gloom. Our big dream of catching Mt. Fuji? Totally ghosted us.
One prime viewing spot was the panoramic room at the Narukawa Art Museum. The scenery was stunning… except for the whole missing-Mt.-Fuji thing, which kind of stole the show. As for the museum? Let’s just say it was ‘cozy’ and not exactly a thrill ride—unless you’re super into staring contests with art.
