Kicked off the day by flexing our debate skills, arguing with the previous Airbnb host and defending ourselves against their ridiculous case. Also filed for reimbursement of cleaning fees—because, why not? Final score: Us 2, Host 0.
Then headed to the Tokyo National Museum of Nature and Science. It was pretty solid, though a lot of the exhibits were in Japanese, and Google Translate can only do so much before you just accept that dinosaurs are dinosaurs in any language. Their online guide? About as reliable as a paper umbrella in a typhoon—bad internet strikes again. We ditched it halfway through.
Lunch at the museum was a pleasant surprise! Big portions, tasty food, and decent prices. Marat and I devoured beef curry while D dove into fried noodles. Museum food for the win!
