Wanted to go to the National Gallery, but it was closed. Went to the Sofia City Art Gallery instead – only photography section was open and it was super lame.
We walked around the center, got inside the Basilica of St. Sofia after which the city is named. The guide told us that a lot of people don’t even know that, including the officials who erected the Saint Sofia monument in 2000 as the patron of the city. Apparently, it caused a lot of commotion among citizens pointing to lack of historical knowledge in people who govern the city. Go figure.
We stopped to take picture in front of Ivan Vazov theater. Daniel saw a few elderly people playing chess, and we hanged out around them watching them.
- Walked to the Eagles Bridge to take pictures.
- And then the highlight of our day – Borisova Gardina Park where Daniel took level 4 and 5 Kokolandia Adventure park course. It was so much fun enjoying Daniel struggle on the course 🙂
