Took a bus to visit Lower Duden Waterfalls, went through the park along the Mediterranean sea. Gorgeous waterfall, wonderful stroll, even worked out a bit in an open “gym”.
- At night, there was a chess match of the century: Daniel taking on the undefeated chess champion of the family, deda Khamza!
- Word of the day: Pastirma, Turkish dried cow sausage. Tried it for the first time. I loved it, resembles a bit of Italian Coppa dried sausage. But Marat didn’t quite accepted the taste.
- Upper Düden Waterfalls would have been great too, but the people were against a long bus ride, 1.5 hrs. I had to agree with the crowds, the local bus schedule is notoriously unreliable! We sometimes had to wait for a bus for 25-40 min with one full passing by without stopping and some not even coming ever.
